The newly released footage finds Conroy’s superhero tackling with Mark Hamill as The Joker for the last time, with the dialogue spoken by the actor in the clip surely the perfect ending to his acclaimed tenure as the DC icon.
“I care Joker. About Gotham, about Justice, And if it has to end, at least I go out like this… being Batman.”

Kevin Conroy sadly passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 66 following a battle with cancer, and while it had been thought that his final Batman performance would be in the video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, many were relieved to learn that he would reunite with Hamill one more time in the animated Justice League sequel. Hearing Conroy’s voice emanate from the cape and cowl of Batman is an understandably emotional experience for fans, who have taken to social media to pay tribute to the actor and his masterful performance as the DC character over the years.
