Jennifer Garner Paired Fall’s Favorite Sweater with This Polished Alternative to Jeans — Copy Her Look from $24

‘Tis the (transitional) season to freeze in the morning and sweat in the afternoon — unless you take inspiration from Jennifer Garner’s latest look, that is.

On September 3, the Family Switch actress was unveiled as Architectural Digest’s October cover star alongside an accompanying feature and a variety of stunning photos. Although the snaps of her beautiful home were certainly awe-worthy, it was the effortlessly elegant outfit she wore when posing in her kitchen that really caught my eye.

In the photo, Garner made a silky midi slip skirt work for early fall by teaming it with a chunky cable knit sweater and brown woven slip-on sandals. While I would never think to wear a sweater with two warm-weather staples, her monochromatic outfit’s combination of textures and weights made for a fall-friendly ‘fit that looked right out of, well, a magazine.
