AC/DC is back on the road with their ‘PWR/UP TOUR’ to promote their latest album ‘Power Up.’ The rockers started their tour in mid-May and performed their most recent show in London at Wembley Stadium. This tour is their first in 8 years, but are they still worth seeing live?
Details Of The London Show
The frontman Brian Johnson started the show with the words:
“We’re going to have some fun and play some rock ‘n’ roll.”
And he was right. AC/DC performed both newer songs such as ‘Shot In The Dark’ and ‘Demon Fire,’ and classics like ‘Shoot To Thrill,’ ‘Hells Bells’ and ‘T.N.T.’
The band started their Wembley show with ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It).’ The main set closed with the ‘Let There Be Rock’ and it featured confetti and a 10-minute guitar solo masterclass from Angus Young.
Fan favorite hit ‘Back In Black’ came early in the show, and Young added a devil horns gesture during the ‘Highway To Hell.’
Is It Worth Seeing Live?
We can see from the fan reactions all over the Internet that they still are worth watching live.
Both the first-timers and regular attendees seem to have enjoyed the Wembley show. Many fans shared footage from the show all over social media, with some even saying that Brian Johnson is ‘something special live.’
In short, they are definitely still worth seeing live, so if they are playing near you, don’t miss out.
AC/DC will be performing live in the same venue on July 7.
