Imagine Dragons announced their new album ‘Loom’ for $5 million.
The band will drop their sixth studio album, ‘Loom,’ on June 28. Fans can preorder it from the Imagine Dragons store, which includes a special limited-edition ‘printed digital art puzzle.’ Every vinyl version of the album comes with a special insert. The listing reads:
“The only one in the entire world. Together, these inserts form a bigger picture; nine special images correlating to the nine tracks on the album.”
To solve the puzzle, a fan needs all nine inserts. Imagine Dragons are selling a special limited edition ‘Loom’ printed art puzzle vinyl exclusively on Discord for $5,001,000. This shocked fans, but they pointed out that the high price prevents scalpers and bots. To lower the price to something more affordable, people have to join Imagine Dragons’ Discord server for a special coupon code.
Other Details From The Upcoming Album
Loom has nine songs: ‘Wake Up,’ ‘Nice to Meet You,’ ‘Eyes Closed,’ ‘Take Me to the Beach,’ ‘In Your Corner,’ ‘Gods Don’t Pray,’ ‘Don’t Forget Me,’ ‘Kid,’ and ‘Fire in These Hills.’ On March 10, 2024, the band started hinting at new music on their social media. Then, on April 1, they revealed that a new song called ‘Eyes Closed’ would come out on April 3. This song is the first single from their upcoming album.
Later, on April 22, they announced the album. Imagine Dragon’s lead singer Dan Reynolds talked about how they made the album and its cover in an interview with the Associated Press. He explained that the cover shows two figures, with the sun either rising or setting in the background:
“You can’t really tell if it’s a sunset or a sunrise, and then there are two people kind of separated standing in front of it. That really kind of sums it up thematically when I listen to it, Is the beginning of something new, or is this the end of something? And the sunset and the sunrise always kind of feels that way to me. It could be either/or.”
The group also revealed the Loom World Tour on the day they announced the record. It includes 30 shows across the United States and starts on July 30, 2024, in Camden, New Jersey. Their last show is on October 22 in Los Angeles.
