MBS introduced on Tuesday that it’s producing a live-action collection adaptation of Harada‘s One Room Angel boys-love manga that may premiere on MBS‘ “Drama Bathe” programming block on October 19.

Shūhei Uesugi (One Week Buddies, River’s Edge, left in picture above) performs Kōki, whereas Kansai Johnny’s Jr. member Takuya Nishimura (proper) performs the angel.
The manga facilities on Kōki, an apathetic comfort retailer worker, and a self-proclaimed angel that Kōki meets. The story begins when Kōki is stabbed by a random thug, and in his dying moments, sees an angel. He thought that he was being welcomed into the afterlife, however he finds himself totally healed. And when he returns dwelling, he finds that very same angel already there. After discovering out that the angel has no reminiscences, and can’t fly, Kōki takes pity on him and lets him stick with him for some time.
Yuka Eda (live-action Play it Cool, Guys collection) is directing the collection, with scripts by Aya Watatane.
Harada serialized the manga, a remake of a 2013 brief story “Tomarigi” (Perch), in Shodensha‘s On Blue journal from 2017 to 2019. Shodensha printed one compiled guide quantity for the manga in 2019.
KUMA printed Harada‘s Joyful Crappy Life manga in English on Might 2. Denpa has licensed Harada‘s Yata-Momo manga.
