Lzzy Hale threw shade at Kid Rock on Instagram.
The Halestorm vocalist reposted a story on Instagram where it said, “Legendary icon Dolly Parton and her business donated $2m to Hurricane Helene relief efforts.”
The post added, “Superstar Taylor Swift has donated $5m to Hurricane relief efforts. In a world filled with billionaire frauds like Elon Musk, and MAGA nuts like Kid Rock, always be like Dolly and Taylor.”
Kid Rock is known to be a long-time supporter of Donald Trump. In June, the musician said that voting for Trump would help solve tax problems. He posted his dinner bill on Instagram, where he tipped $400 and added a note on the bill that said, “A vote for Trump is a vote for no tax on tips.”
“As a bar owner, and having spoke to a few other bar / restaurant owners, this is HUGE! Most small businesses have all had challenges in staffing. This will solve so many problems for so many hard-working Americans! Trump is a genius and for the working class! Biden is straight Hollywood! Happy Fathers Day,” he also wrote in the caption of his post.
Rock is open about his political views and defends his beliefs, even when they are controversial. On the Club Random Podcast last year, he said he doesn’t think his political views will harm his music career.
The singer explained, “So people will tell like, ‘It’s politics, man. They’re going to f*ck up your business.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t give a sh*t, and I’ve saved my money.’ I’m like, ‘I can speak openly.’ You know?”
Kid attended the National Guard Association’s 146th General Conference on August 26 to welcome Trump. He wore a red ‘Keep America Great’ hat and a ‘Made in Detroit’ T-shirt. After taking the stage, Trump spoke highly of Rock. He mentioned that he calls him ‘Bob’ instead of his stage name and said that it was an honor to be with the crowd of patriots.
