The famed victim of Munchausen by proxy, who was in L.A. to promote ‘Gypsy-Rose: Life After Lock Up,’ lives in Louisiana
has left Los Angeles after a busy visit to Hollywood.
On Saturday, May 4, the Gypsy-Rose: Life After Lock Up star was spotted departing Los Angeles International Airport by photographers.
Dressed casually in an oversized beige hoodie, jeans and black sunglasses, Blanchard, 32, left with a blue rolling suitcase, a carry-on bag with a butterfly design and a white purse as she waved goodbye.
The victim, who lives in Louisiana, was visiting L.A. to promote her upcoming Lifetime reality series, which follows her life after her December 2023 .
Blanchard attended on May 1 to promote the show. Speaking to PEOPLE during the FYC event, she said was enjoying her chance to travel to California.
“I’m just enjoying my time traveling,” Blanchard said. “I don’t get to travel very often because I am on parole, so I have to get permission from my [parole officer] to travel, so I’m just enjoying tonight.”
Blanchard’s trip to L.A. hasn’t been all business. In a TikTok shared by beauty influencer and makeup artist Alexis Oakley, .
After picking up products from brands like Makeup Forever, Kosas, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury and more, Oakley jokingly said that Blanchard was “an easy sell!”

Blanchard, who also found fame immediately following her release from prison with her first Lifetime series, The Prison Confessions of Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, that followed her 8-year prison stay.

“I’m very much an introvert. And so coming out and this media storm hit me, and I was… At first, I really, really was touched by the positivity that people were showing me,” Blanchard said during the event at The Grove. “And then as social media began and how it always does, it turned negative. It started to have a negative effect on my mental health.”

“But I just recently got back into it with having learned don’t read comments,” she said. “So I mean, I’m just trying to live my life in the best way that I can.”
