Grimes Makes U-Flip On Allegations In opposition to Elon Musk And Now-Spouse Shivon Zilis

Grimes recently took to X and walked back on her previous statements regarding Shivon Zilis and Elon Musk about them not showing her children.

The singer started her words, saying:

“Hey, I would prefer not to breathe any more life into this current press cycle, but I want to de-escalate the narrative at the moment. I spoke with Shivon at length finally, which was long overdue. This wasn’t her fault, please don’t be angry at her! We respect each other a lot, and we’re excited to become friends and have the kids grow up together.”

She then referred to her reply to a post from author Walter Isaacson, who had posted pictures of Musk’s twins with Zilis. Grimes asked Isaacson to tell Shivon to unblock her and requested Elon to allow her to see her son or respond to her lawyer. She added:

“I truly apologize for responding to Walter like that. As you can imagine, that was a very gut-level reaction to a thing that has been very hard for me. Communication about the twins wasn’t handled super well in the past, but I now totally understand what happened and totally forgive the situation.”

Grimes concluded her message, detailing her conversation with Zilis:

“Women are so often pitted against each other. Speaking with Shivon, it’s very evident she’s an amazing human, and we both just want what’s best for our kids. I wish I could show you how cute little Techno is, but my priority is keeping my babies out of the public eye. Please respect that at this time.”

Grimes and Musk had their first child, X Æ A-12, in May 2020 and their second child, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, in December 2021. In September 2023, their third child was revealed, a son named Techno Mechanicus ‘Tau’ Musk. In November 2021, Elon had twins with Zilis, who works at Neuralink. They were born shortly before Musk and Grimes had their second child.
