Plenty of fans shared appreciation for the stunning photos in the comments, such as one who said, “The last picture is so cool omg.”
“Last picture is giving ‘ready for it’ 🔥,” said another, referencing Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift‘s hit song from Reputation, while a third commented, “THAT GAME WAS ELECTRIC 🔥.”
But some fans felt like Kelce’s post came at the wrong time, as people all over the country were reeling from the results of the 2024 election.
“Read the room travis,” wrote one fan, with plenty of similar comments like, “babe not the time,” and “trav i love u but pls read the room.”
Another top-liked comment read, “Travis pls not right now we’re mourning.”
But there were also people who thought that Kelce’s post was perfectly acceptable, such as a different fan of the football player who responded to one comment criticizing him by saying, “I’m sad too, but this isn’t the place.”
Kelce didn’t share any reaction or comment after the mixed response from fans.
