In a recent episode of Good Noise Podcast, Former Falling In Reverse bassist Wrex Horton discussed his relationship with the FIR frontman Ronnie Radke. The bassist recalled his apology and how the frontman reacted to it. He said:
“Ronnie gave me the chance of my lifetime and if I would not be here at 100%. I would not be here without him, so I’m super grateful to him. We actually recently talked at Welcome to Rockville Festival after we hadn’t talked for three years, and there was a lot of resentment and anger and stuff. I went up to him, we talked and I apologized to him. We talked for a while and about everything and he’s cool. I owe a lot to him.”
Every Metal Band Is ‘Ripping Off’ Radke
The two parties went their own ways, but they still admire each other to this day. In another interview, Horton shared his love for the metalcore genre and pointed out how they all sounded the same recently. The rocker also went on to say that most bands were ripping his former bandmate off:
“I love metal but I love metalcore too, that sort of 2000s to… It’s still going on now but pretty much every band sounds exactly the same. You could pick a song from their newer records and they all sound [the same]. Midi 808, hi-hat, sing-songy verse into a big epic chorus. To be honest I think everyone is ripping Ronnie off actually.”
