From sparkles to flutters.
Doja Cat continued to push fashion and beauty boundaries at the Paris couture shows Wednesday, attending the Viktor & Rolf runway show sporting faux facial hair.
The “Say So” singer, 27 — who shaved off her own hair and arches last year — let false lashes stand in for eyebrows, a mustache and a goatee.
She paired the surreal, Salvador Dalí-worthy beauty look with a camel-colored pinstriped coat and pant combo layered over a green striped shirt with a starched collar.
Other celebrities in attendance at the Viktor & Rolf show — which presented intricate ballgowns fastened to models’ corsets upside down, sideways and every which way — included Noah Cyrus, Lisa Rinna and Olivia Palermo, though none brought the same dedication to their looks as Doja.
And she certainly has made an impression at Paris Fashion Week so far; the “Get Into It” singer caused a stir at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show on Monday when she sat front row covered completely in more than 30,000 red Swarovski crystals, which took makeup maestro Pat McGrath’s team about five hours to apply by hand.
Friends and fans were loving her latest high-fashion look. British designer Hayden Williams commented on her Instagram post, “It’s camp!! Doja is committed to a look and will wear it with conviction for sure” while Heidi Klum — always a fan of over-the-top costumes — simply wrote, “I love you.”
Another commenter joked, “About to be the New 2023 brows.”
While the look was certainly whimsical, the pop star also covered her face in faux lashes as a way to clap back at the haters of her bedazzled beauty moment at Schiaparelli.
She told Nylon that she heard some fans were “disappointed” that she didn’t have lashes on top of the crystals, quipping, “So today I gave them lashes. I hope they’re happy. And I just want to make people happy.”
