Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider recently shared a fan-made merch that shocked him. In fact, the creativity of the merch shocked him so much that it might piss off KISS’ Gene Simmons.
Snider took to X to share the fan merch he was asked to sign. It was a cardboard with an illustration of the singer that read:
“Stay horny. I wanna rock that *ss!”
The frontman wrote in the caption:
“Someone asked me to sign this today. WTF?!”
In another following tweet, the rocker wrote:
“Did Twisted Sister one up KISS?”
Gene Simmons takes the most part in the merchandising business of the band. Knowing this, Snider shared another tweet that was meant for Simmons. He wrote:
“Gene Simmons is gonna be so pissed at a missed merchandising opportunity!
KISS Is Not ‘Crazy’ Anymore
KISS rockers and Snider have been dissing each other for some time now. Last year, the Twisted Sister frontman took a jab at KISS during an interview.
Though he didn’t mention the band by name, he named the 1987 KISS album ‘Crazy Nights.’ He then explained that KISS still sang the album during their shows but were ‘not crazy anymore’:
“I see people singing ‘Crazy Nights’ and they’re not so crazy anymore. I’m not gonna name names. I always b*tch about people who retire, sell us the ‘No More Tours’ shirt — Ozzy — and then come back a few years later, ‘We love you, we love you.’ That’s bullsh*t.”
The singer explained what bands should do instead of retiring and returning to the stages a few years later:
“And people say, ‘Well, that’s f*cked up.’ No — stay forever, man. Stay forever. We don’t want you to leave. Just don’t do a three-year farewell tour — Scorpions — and then say you changed your mind. ‘Cause you haven’t played every place? No, you’ve played every place — twice.”
