Dee Snider named Sebastian Bach and Tracii Guns as his favorite people on X.
A user on X wrote that they grew up into punk and grunge and didn’t care much for ’80s bands. Seeing Skid Row changed that, and now they respect these guys, including Snider, for speaking their minds. They want to go to more shows and buy the merch to support.
Snider saw this tweet and wrote in his response, “Thanks for all of that. Sebastian Bach and Tracii Guns are some of my favorite people for those exact reasons.”
“I never expected it, but my favorite people on this sh*tty site are Dee Snider, Tracii Guns, and Sebastian Bach,” the user said in their tweet. “Lol,” Guns responded.
The same user continued, “I grew up a punk and grunge kid. I saw Skid Row in high school when a friend had an extra ticket for Kiss and I remember thinking ‘this guy has a hell of a voice.’ But I was never really into the big bands from the 80s. It took me a while to come around to loving GnR. But I never expected to find so much common ground with these dudes.”
“I don’t know why that is, it just is (was). Their attitude of not giving a f*ck and saying what they believe, it’s more than what many of my punk idols have done. It’s encouraging. I can tell they are good dudes,” they also added.
The user lastly noted, “I’m going to the next shows. I’m buying the shirts. I’m supporting good people.” Guns wrote another comment and said, “I can dig it, brother!!!
Snider previously said he’d like Bach or his son Jesse Blaze to play him in a Twisted Sister movie or musical. A fan asked him on X, “Who would play you in a Twisted Sister musical on Broadway?” Snider replied, “Either Sebastian Bach or my oldest son Jesse Blaze.”
Snider also had an interaction with Guns on X. When Tracii talked about his love for disco’s bass and drums, Dee didn’t agree and joked that he’d stick with metal music instead.
Thanks for all of that. @sebastianbach and @TraciiGuns are some of my favorite people for those exact reasons.
