Bret Michaels is getting ready for his gig at the Carowinds Summer Music Fest, and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider is going to be there too.
Snider took to Instagram to share the news that he would be joining the Poison singer for the upcoming show. He said:
“North Carolinian headbangers, do you wanna rock? You better, because I’m Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, yeah you know me, and I am stoked to be a part of the all-new Carowinds Summer Music Fest amplified by Coke Studio this Saturday, July 6th. I will be there of course with the amazing Bret Michaels to kick ass. Great White’s gonna be there, Slaughter’s gonna be there, you are in for a great show and it’s included with a park admission. Are you kidding? All that, on a holiday weekend, who would wanna miss that? You better not miss that because I don’t know when I’m doing this again. Get your tickets now.”
Snider And Michaels’ Earlier Performances
Snider and Michaels took to stage together before too. In May, Snider joined Michaels on the stage of the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia. They performed four songs together: Twisted Sister’s ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ and ‘I Wanna Rock,’ AC/DC’s ‘Highway To Hell’ and Poison’s ‘Nothin’ But A Good Time.’
A few months before that, Michaels announced his ‘Parti-Gras 2.0’ tour dates for 2024. The Poison frontman revealed a six-city lineup featuring Snider.
Other names like former Eagles member Don Felder, country star Chris Janson, and original Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm were included in the lineup as well.
