While Marvel fans were left disappointed by the lack of an announcement regarding a Disney Plus release date for this year’s box office dominating Deadpool & Wolverine, we can all now rest easy, as an apparent leak has seemingly revealed when the MCU movie will land on the streaming platform. As well as revealing first looks at some of the franchise’s 2025 slate, including Daredevil: Born Again, Wonder Man, and Ironheart, the footage that has emerged confirms that Deadpool & Wolverine will land on Disney+ in November.
According to the leak, Deadpool & Wolverine, which sees both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprise their respective roles, will be available to stream on Disney+ from November 12, 2024. Meaning we only have to wait a few weeks before once again basking in the multiversal madness from the comfort of our own homes.
Directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay he wrote alongside Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells, Deadpool & Wolverine finds the character’s peaceful existence come crashing down when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse. He soon unites with his would-be pal, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat. You can check out the official synopsis for the MCU outing below.

Deadpool & Wolverine Saw Huge Financial and Critical Success
Deadpool & Wolverine has been just the success that the MCU, which many feel has been floundering lately, needed. Featuring a whole host of crowd-pleasing cameos, including Channing Tatum as Gambit, Wesley Snipes as Blade, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and Henry Cavill as a Wolverine variant, alongside Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, the sequel has been a huge success for the MCU, grossing over $1 billion worldwide and thus becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
As well as finding monumental success at the box office, Deadpool & Wolverine has also seen huge success critically. On Rotten Tomatoes, the Marvel adventure holds a “Certified Fresh” rating of 78% from critics and a “Verified Hot” rating of 94% from audiences on the Popcornmeter. “Ryan Reynolds makes himself at home in the MCU with acerbic wit while Hugh Jackman provides an Adamantium backbone to proceedings in Deadpool & Wolverine, an irreverent romp with a surprising soft spot for a bygone era of superhero movies,” the critics’ consensus reads.

Currently, there has been no official word about when, or even if, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will return as Deadpool & Wolverine. However, considering the box office achievements of the first outing, it wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to learn that the studio wants a sequel. If not a follow-up, the MCU Multiverse Saga is all set to reach its climax with the Avengers sequels Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, with the latter being the perfect way to bring Deadpool and Wolverine back into the fray.
