Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was asked about his words on Taylor Swift, but how he reacted might come out ‘weird’ to some.
Earlier, Grohl said during a live show that they were actually playing live and implied that Swift wasn’t. The frontman was recently approached by TMZ about his comments on Swift’s singing. He was asked if he would like to clarify his comments.
The rocker refuses to respond. However, he takes a look at the cameraman and leaves.
What Happened Between The Two?
Grohl took a shot at Swift by suggesting her band doesn’t perform live at their concerts. He made these comments during the Foo Fighters’ sold-out show at London Stadium on June 22, while Swift was performing about 15 miles away at Wembley Stadium. Grohl said:
“I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So we like to call our tour the ‘Errors Tour.’ We’ve had more than a few eras and more than a few f*cking errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying! You guys like raw, live rock’n’roll music, right? You came to the right f*cking place.”
In response, Swift sent a message to Grohl by thanking her crew and her band for playing live for more than three hours:
“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band, who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”
