Chris Jericho has mocked Mick Jagger during one of his shows with Rolling Stones.
The singer and the wrestler took to Instagram to share a video of his experience from the show. Jericho called Jagger a branch, referring to how skinny he looks. He used the word branch many times in his video.
Jericho wrote in the caption of the video:
“Hey guys! Back at it in the front row of The Rolling Stones concert checking in on my branches, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. [Tree emojis]”
Jericho Wants Jagger To Retire
Through the end of the video, Jericho chanted:
“Please retire! Please retire!”
Although Jericho yelled at Jagger to retire, he earlier said in an interview that he was seeing the band every time they had a show and that Jagger is still the best frontman in rock and roll history.
He even added that the singer both looks and sings like he is 30.
Will Jagger Ever Retire?
The short answer is no, he will not.
The frontman is currently 80 years old and still has no plans to retire. He and his Rolling Stones bandmates are touring to promote their latest album ‘Hackney Diamonds.’
During an interview two years ago, the singer emphasized that their tour back then wouldn’t be their last. He also mentioned his lover for performing live:
“I am not planning it to be the last tour. I love being on tour. I don’t think I would do it if I did not enjoy it. I enjoy going out there on stage and doing my stuff. That is what I do. I want everyone to enjoy themselves and forget the troubles in their lives for a couple of hours and just chill out and have a great afternoon and evening.”
