Chester Bennington’s widow Talinda Bennington approves of Linkin Park’s comeback with a new singer.
Recently, Linkin Park announced that Emily Armstrong from the band Dead Sara will be their new co-vocalist.
Armstrong shared a picture together with Mike Shinoda on Instagram with the caption, “Sorry I can’t, I have rehearsal…” Talinda Bennington commented with a heart and a fire emoji. Not only that, but she also shared the news on her Instagram story, making it clear that she approves of the band’s choice of a new singer.
Along with Chester’s widow, other rockers also approve of the band’s decision. “CONGRATS LOVE,” Halestorm singer Lzzy Hale commented under Armstrong’s post. Alissa White-Gluz added, “Fantastic job!”
“So happy for my brothers in LP. Welcome back,” Avenged Sevenfold singer M. Shadows wrote on X. “HOLY SH*T LINKIN PARK. F*ck yea Emily Armstrong,” Machine Gun Kelly added.
They revealed the news along with a new single called ‘The Emptiness Machine,’ their first new music in seven years. The single will be the lead track on their upcoming album, ‘From Zero,’ set to release on November 15 via Warner Records.
