A video of the late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has recently surfaced, taken just 36 hours before his passing.
In the video, Bennington is playing a game with his family. The singer puts a candy in his mouth and quickly spits it out. He looks like he is choking through the rest of the video, similar to his way of passing just sometime after the video.
In addition to that, some fans noticed that he didn’t look truly happy and that he was hiding his real emotions from his family. “He looked so sad but you could tell he was putting in for his family. Rest in peace Chester,” a user wrote in the comments.
“Mental health is so important and it’s important to discuss about it openly often times we don’t know what our loved ones are going through. Please be humble to everyone,” another user added.
However, some don’t believe he took his own life, and think he was killed instead. “Look into the events surrounding his death. It’s a deep dark rabbit hole. I believe he was unalived. He was a good man, and I’ll never believe he took his own life,” a user wrote.
Bennington lost his life to suicide in 2017. While some don’t believe that he took his own life, his bandmates shared many times that he was struggling with depression and that he reflected his thoughts on the lyrics as well.
