In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Cara Delevingne talked about a moment when she met Bruce Springsteen without realizing who he was.
The actress was talking about her relationship with musician Minke (Leah Mason), whom she began dating in 2022. Cara said they teach each other a lot and gave an example:
“Two years ago we were backstage at Glastonbury and we took a photo with this guy. I said to Leah afterwards, who was that? She was like, ‘What? That was Bruce Springsteen!’ I had no idea what he looked like. She thinks that’s blasphemy.”
Delevingne shared in a 2023 Vogue interview that she first met Leah at a boarding school in Hampshire, England when they were kids. They met again at an Alanis Morissette concert ten years later and began dating in 2022, following Cara’s breakup with Ashley Benson two years prior.
Delevingne’s Struggle With Addiction
Cara is now sober after a challenging journey. She mentioned her first time getting drunk was at her aunt’s wedding in 2001 in The Sunday Times interview:
“I got drunk that day. I was eight, what a crazy age to get drunk!”
She added:
“I used to think drugs and alcohol helped me cope … but they didn’t, they kept me sad and super depressed. I feel like I’ve got my power back and I’m not being controlled by other things.”
Delevingne also mentioned in the chat that she and her partner have different music tastes. Leah prefers old rock like Fleetwood Mac, while Cara enjoys R&B and old-school hip-hop, such as The Notorious B.I.G.
She also admires musicians like Chappell Roan and Renee Rapp. They have plans to attend concerts together, including Taylor Swift, Girls Aloud, Troye Sivan, Robbie Williams, and Stevie Nicks.
