In a new interview with Loudwire Nights, Bush’s Gavin Rossdale opened up about the band’s long-lasting career and the rejections he had faced on the way. He explained:
“Every single moment was a different stepping stone of rejection at that point in my life.”
He doesn’t hold any grudge about those rejections, though. The singer continued:
“Life is full of rejections. I mean, how can you possibly live a life without consistently getting f*cked? I don’t know how else to do it. At some point, someone’s always trying to f*ck you… I hope that serves as a message of hope for everyone that’s getting f*cked. You’re not alone.”
A New Album Is Coming Soon
The conversation wasn’t all about looking back. Toward the end of the interview, Rossdale gave fans a hint about the future of Bush.
He said they thought about releasing a new single before their tour with Jerry Cantrell but decided not to, so they wouldn’t take attention away from their recent greatest hits album, ‘Loaded.’ However, a new album is on the road. The frontman said:
“We’ve done a new Bush record. [We’ve] recorded 10 songs.”
Though there are no more details about the next album for now, Rossdale revealed that he is considering keeping the album to ten songs and that they were ready to be mixed.
