“Say you can’t sleep / Baby, I know / That’s that me / Espresso,” Newton said while looking into the camera as dramatic Bridgerton-inspired music played in the background.

Before introducing the segment, which saw Newton recite multiple pop culture lines as Colin, host , 49, said, “Everyone thinks that you can make anything sound romantic… and sexy.”
“I thought if we gave you some random lines from modern pop culture, maybe you’d be able to show us how Colin Bridgerton would say them if he was talking to Penelope,” he added, while referencing Newton’s onscreen love interest , who is played by .
