Bon Jovi’s latest album ‘Forever’ came out in early June but made an unwanted mark in their history following the controversy surrounding its signed copies. The record entered the Billboard 200 album sales chart at number five but fell off TheShockNews the next week.
‘Forever’ might be the first Bon Jovi studio album to appear in the Top 200 for only one week if it doesn’t return in the future.
The band’s previous album, ‘2020,’ remained on the chart for just two weeks. It dropped 126 spots from number 19 in its second week of release before leaving the chart for good.
Jon Bon Jovi Has Vocal Problems These Days
Bon Jovi released a documentary series to promote ‘Forever’ instead of going on tour this year. ‘Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story’ delved into Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal issues, surgery, and recovery after a badly-received tour performance in 2022.
The vocalist confirmed to The Guardian that a full-scale trek wasn’t on the cards in the near future last month:
“It’s a work in progress. There’s no miracle. I just wish there was a f**king light switch. I’m more than capable of singing again. The bar is now: can I do two and a half hours a night, four nights a week? The answer is no.”
The band’s last show took place at the opening of Jon’s new Nashville bar, JBJs, on June 7. They played a five-song set that included ‘Forever’ tracks.
