Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are set to share the screen again, this time in crime thriller RIP.
The film package is currently making its way around town and has Joe Carnahan, the filmmaker behind Smokin’ Aces and The Grey, attached to direct and write the script. Plot details are not yet known and a fall shoot is planned.
Affleck and Damon will also produce via their Artists Equity banner. The duo recently produced and starred in Air Jordan movie Air, which Affleck also directed. Artists Equity recently struck a deal with Lionsgate to distribute drama Small Things Like These, which stars Cillian Murphy and premiered at the Berlin Film Festival.
Elsewhere on the Artists Equity slate is the sequel to the Affleck vehicle The Accountant, which landed at Amazon MGM, along with other Artists Equity title Unstoppable starring Jennifer Lopez.
Affleck and Damon founded the outfit on the principle of offering profit participation to more of the cast and crew, including below-the-line talent. It has quickly amassed a large slate.
Affleck and Damon are repped by WME.
