The 27-year-old model is also starring in a new campaign, “Sculpted by Light,” for the brand’s Ice Cube collection.
Model Bella Hadid has been named Chopard‘s newest global ambassador.
The partnership marks a “triumphant return to the fashion stage” for Hadid and “heralds the debut of a new chapter for Chopard,” according to a release from the luxury watch and jewelry brand.
“I have so much appreciation for Chopard’s craftsmanship and have been an admirer of theirs for many years,” Hadid said in a release. “I am so thrilled to be joining the Chopard family.”
The luxury brand feels similarly. “Bella epitomizes the spirit of Chopard: a harmonious mix of effortless elegance and a zest for life that are truly enchanting and perfectly resonate with what our watches and jewelry stand for,” Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s co-president and artistic director said in a statement. “We are excited about embarking on this new journey together.”
Hadid is also the star of Chopard’s new “Sculpted by Light” campaign, showcasing the brand’s Ice Collection. The campaign “celebrates the purity, appeal and contemporary character” of the collection, according to the release.
In the campaign, Hadid is photographed against an abstract city skyline backdrop, repeated to make a mirrored effect. The campaign features a slew of shadows, aligning with the theme of the campaign, which is “without shadow, there is no light.”
Earlier this summer, Hadid was exclusively photographed by The Hollywood Reporter in a Versace ensemble with Chopard Haute Joaillerie pieces. For the glittering look, the model decided to forgo a necklace, instead drawing focus to her elegant 18-carat white gold earrings that featured 24.12 carats of diamonds.
