Heart’s Ann Wilson is doing great after his knee replacement surgery.
Wilson made an announcement about her health in a recent video. She revealed that she had a knee replacement and said she was doing okay:
“About three months ago, I had a knee replacement, right? So I’m up and everything, I’m doing great, it’s healing just fine! But if I sit down for a second here and there tonight don’t worry about me, I’m good.”
She added that nothing can stop her from performing:
“Who’s had a knee replacement? Come on! Brothers and sisters! Anyway, we rock and roll no matter what.”
Aging And Body Acceptance
Wilson has always been vocal about facing bullying for her body size since she was a kid.
In a chat with People before her headline show at the 6th annual Women Who Rock Benefit Concert, Wilson opened up about how age and body size are simply numbers:
“The whole idea is everyone is allowed to be sexy and be powerful no matter what shape you’re in. I think there’s some pretty good movement in certain areas about that — aging and body acceptance and all that.”
She also mentioned that today’s society is more accepting than before.
