On the latest episode of their podcast, Robach and Holmes revealed that they “haven’t figured the marriage thing out yet”
and are opening up about taking the next steps forward in their relationship.
The former co-anchors shared on the latest episode of their podcast, released on April 21, that they are undecided about getting married.
“We haven’t figured the marriage thing out yet,” Robach, 51, revealed as Holmes, 46, added, “… We haven’t decided whether or not we are going to officially get married.”
Addressing where their relationship is headed next, the pair shared that moving in together was more of a priority for them right now.

“But we have, I have said this to you, and I believe you’ve said it to me as well that I want to be with you for the rest of my life, and I would like to live with you when the time comes,” Robach continued. “It doesn’t have to be today or tomorrow or next year, but I would eventually like to live with you.”
Robach added that she wants a “life partner” in Holmes. He then asked her whether or not that was possible without the legal agreement of marriage.
“You can,” she replied, bringing up her favorite couple and as a great example. “I’m sure and I know it’s not perfect. But I’ve always been in awe of the fact that every day they wake up and they choose to be together, there’s no legal [sic] binding document that says they have to be together.”

Robach said of the idea of marriage that “it’s a security blanket, but it’s a false security blanket.” However, she still sees it in her future with Holmes.
“And that’s not the way I want to have a relationship with you, but I still default to that in my head. Oh, I’m just admitting it, and I’m not saying it makes any sense,” she shared.
As for moving in together, Robach and Holmes reckon their relationship wouldn’t change “at all” should they take that next step.
“We work together, and we prep for work together … and so we’re never [apart] and we’ve been like this for a very long time,” Robach said. “… I just think we’re so used to constantly being around each other. That would not change anything.”
