AC/DC gave Taylor Momsen a funny gift for her recent bat incident.
The Pretty Reckless vocalist shared a video while opening AC/DC’s little toy bat and wrote in the caption:
“AC/DC crew continuing to be the greatest…thanks for the gift I LOVE IT!!! Thanks for all your great work every night.”
How Did Taylor’s Bat Incident Happen?
Last week, Momsen was bitten by a bat onstage. At a show where The Pretty Reckless opened for AC/DC, a bat landed on Momsen’s leg during their song ‘Witches Burn’ and stayed until the end. Momsen shared a fan-recorded video of the moment on Instagram and said:
“So… ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT… in Sevilla Wednesday during ‘Witches Burn’ of all songs… a bat flew onto me and clung to my leg… In the moment I was performing and had no idea until the incredible crowd kept screaming and pointing…”
She also said the bat was cute, but she needed to get rabies shots:
“He was cute, but yes he bit me… So rabies shots for the next two weeks. Thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me batgirl after seeing it on the local news that morning… More footage to come… That’s one for the books!”
Momsen’s Onstage Moments With Bat
The singer posted a video and close-up photos of the bat on her leg. She also shared clips from her hospital visit. In the video, Taylor was on stage talking:
“You guys are pointing at something and I don’t know what you’re saying.”
She said the following after realizing the bat:
“There’s a f*cking flying bat on my leg right now. Can someone help me please? Eeek! I must really be a witch.”
Some people from the crew helped her, and she told the crowd:
“It’s alright, and the bat’s fine. He’s gonna be my new friend.”
The Pretty Reckless is the opening act for AC/DC during their European tour, which started on May 17 in Germany. Their last show with AC/DC is scheduled for August 17 in Dublin, Ireland.
