Former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach has defended the American physician-scientist and immunologist Anthony Fauci’s comments.
The rocker took to X to respond to a post about climate change. He wrote:
“I will be voting to turn the temperature down on the planet earth this election.”
A user then started arguing with other people saying the change in the weather was normal because ‘it’s summer.’ The user wrote in their latest post:
“You think the scientists aren’t part of the government? Eg: Fauci. Who needs to grow up??”
In response, Bach supported Fauci and said:
“The only thing Fauci ever did in his life was try to help people like you, even if you are a dumbass.”
What Did Fauci Suggest?
Dr. Anthony Fauci has been a controversial figure during the COVID-19 pandemic for several reasons.
He said that the measures they used were based on science. He stressed that the country needs better social awareness and communication for future pandemics.
Fauci addressed claims that Covid-19 was made in a lab in China and leaked by accident. He said he knew about these claims but was not involved in them. He also denied claims that he funded the lab where the virus was supposedly created.
Fauci mentioned he never used his personal email for work and that some public claims about him were not true. He clarified that he was not behind the ‘social distance’ rule, and argued that it was the guideline created by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the USA to be implemented in schools.
