Cyrus, the face of Gucci Flora perfumes, held a poolside celebration with the brand at the Chateau Marmont, with Jenner, Salma Hayek Pinault and Maude Apatow in attendance.
“I didn’t wanted to leave you, I didn’t want to fight. Started to cry then remembered — I’m the face of Gucci,” Miley Cyrus cheekily sang during a performance of her hit song “Flowers” at the Gucci Summer Celebration on Thursday.
The star, who is the face of Gucci Flora perfumes, hosted a poolside party with the brand at the Chateau Marmont, making one of her first public appearances since winning two Grammys for “Flowers” in February.
Cyrus danced her way onto the pool deck midway through the event, stopping for photos while jokingly asking her team for suggestions on poses — before grabbing a bottle of the new Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum as a prop. She also joined Gucci creative director Sabato De Sarno for some pictures behind a keyboard, before returning later in the night to sing.
“Flowers” serves as the soundtrack for the new Gucci Flora campaign and Cyrus performed a slowed-down version at the event, teasing at one point mid-song, “Is that Kendall Jenner doing harmonies?” as she spotted the model in the crowd. Salma Hayek Pinault, Maude Apatow, Finneas, Law Roach, Rumer Willis, Kim Petras and Mark Foster were also among the stars in attendance, along with Cyrus’ mom Tish (with husband Dominic Purcell), boyfriend Maxx Morando and siblings Brandi and Trace. THR also spotted A-lists stylists Jeanne Yang, Jessica Paster and Warren Alfie Baker.
Throughout the evening, guests — who entered the party via a tunnel of flowers — munched on a mix of floral-inspired hors d’oeuvres and desserts, as well as poolside classics like sliders and french fries, and sipped on signature cocktails. A photo booth proved to be another popular part of the evening, and attendees went home with a bottle of the new perfume.
