During her opening monologue, Hahn addressed a burning question that pops up in fans’ minds every time Marvel comes up with a new movie or television series: Do you need to watch every MCU movie and TV show to be caught up with Agatha All Along? Her answer (obviously) was a resounding “no,” but Hahn didn’t just leave things there because she was prepared to use “the power of song” and help viewers who “want to get caught up with everything that’s going on in the MCU.”

With its trailer already out, Agatha All Along is all set to kickstart 2024 for Marvel Studios as the first show to stream on Disney+ this year. The story picks up where WandaVision ended and sees Hahn’s Agatha Harkness snapping out of the spell that Scarlet Witch put her under in Westview and embarking on a new journey with a suspicious goth Teen; the two taking on a mysterious Road with a coven of witches. One that promises magic, refreshing scares and unexpected thrills. Besides Hahn, the series will star talented actors like Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.
The MCU Timeline, As Explained by Agatha Harkness
Hahn wastes no time explaining the MCU timeline to her audiences, kicking her song off with a nod to the original Avengers – Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk. She playfully describes iconic characters like Groot and how Vin Diesel’s voice graced him, the diabolical villain with the purple skin – a cheeky reference to Thanos. She sang:
“Let me tell the story of the modern Marvel miracle. Starting off with Iron Man, which critics called impeccable. Then came Thor from Asgard and the Hulk who was incredible. Never had an ensemble been so buff and so bankable.
Iron Man’s impeccable. The Hulk, he was incredible. Never has an ensemble been so buff and so bangable.”
As Hahn’s song continues, she even makes jabs and clever retorts by interchanging “bangable” with “bankable” and asking listeners to “keep it in your spandex.”
