Liquid Death has launched a new electrolyte mix called Death Dust with a little help from Ozzy Osbourne himself. In a commercial they recently released, Ozzy humorously shows how not to use the supplement.
As two teens are about to tear open a pack of Death Dust and add it to their water bottles, Ozzy rolls up in his limousine to give them some advice. He warns them not to snort it:
“Death Dust? Take it from me, don’t snort that stuff.”
This wasn’t his only advice. While the teens appeared to be shocked, he added:
“Whatever you do, don’t try freebasing it, and never ever inject it!”
He finished his series of advice with:
“And don’t even think about boofing it.”
Fan Comments Caused The Recent Commercial
Back in February, Liquid Death announced that ‘Death Dust’ would be available on Amazon. Fans were excited, but not for the reasons you might expect. When announced, one user asked jokingly if they could snort it:
“Can I snort it?”
The company responded:
“Death Dust is best when mixed with 16-19oz of water or tea. Please do not attempt to snort Death Dust.”
However, the comments kept coming. Another user wrote:
“Best if with water, just okay if snorted.”
One even added:
“I am not hearing a no.”
Ozzy’s Past With Commercials
Ozzy has been featured in a number of commercials. Last February, he promoted the PlayStation VR2 headset — in the ad, he got a bit too immersed in gaming for Sharon’s taste.
Around the same time, he also starred in a Super Bowl ad for Workday alongside Billy Idol and Paul Stanley.
