Stryper’s Michael Sweet warned his American fans about the disappearance of religion.
The rocker took to Instagram to celebrate the 36th anniversary of their album ‘In God We Trust.’ He also shared a statement that warned Americans about religion. He wrote:
“Released this day, in 1988. 36 years ago. ‘In God We Trust.’ Reading the news and seeing the state of our country, our world – do we really trust in God? Even that which is printed on all US currency will be abolished eventually by this digital world. Not sure how many agree but that’s a real bummer to me. A sign of the times. To relate to our new single – ‘The End of Days.’ Anyway, we had fun back then. The good old days.”
Sweet’s Words On Other Rockers’ Views About Religion
While this is not the first time he shared his thoughts on religion on his social media accounts, the singer also discussed other rockers’ views on this.
Sweet once again shared a post on his accounts about religion. This time, he took Slayer’s Kerry King as a target and shared the news headline ‘Kerry King: Religion Is ‘The Biggest Lie Among Humanity For Centuries.” He wrote in the caption of the post:
“There’s an indisputable difference between religion and Jesus. Someday we’ll all find out what was a lie versus what is THE truth.”
