When Holmes — who has become known as a New York City thanks to her — was asked whether she plans to pass anything from her wardrobe on to 18-year-old , she said yes.
“I’ve saved some things here and there. But she has her own sense of style and her own expressions,” she explained of the teen, whom she shares with ex-husband .
Holmes joked about her daughter’s penchant for borrowing clothes from her closet. “Sometimes the basics definitely disappear,” she teased. “But that’s fine.” In the past, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed wearing coordinating outfits, such as in 2018 and in 2020.

Katie also spoke about how becoming a mother changed her fashion tastes. “When my child was really small, I was drawn to wearing a lot of dresses,” she told The Sunday Times. “You do go through these different phases of motherhood and they inform what you feel comfortable in and what you don’t. So over the years my style has changed here and there.”

The Batman Begins star — who has a collaboration with — broke down her own sense of style, explaining that she’s always searching for inspiration and looks to people who have “an innate sense of style.”
Holmes shared that she likes to experiment and blend classic and vintage influences.
“I like to mix and match classic pieces. I like vintage a lot,” she explained to the outlet. “Living in New York City, I have to have things that are practical and comfortable. The city influences my style.”
Usually I’m in ballet flats, sneakers, baggy jeans and a T-shirt,” she continued, detailing her wardrobe staples. “I like putting it together in a way that doesn’t look like you put it together.”
