Sabrina Carpenter wears designer looks ‘cause she’s a singer.
It’s been a big year for the 25-year-old “Espresso” pop star, and she’s got the high-fashion fits to show for it.
On May 26, the pop star performed at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend concert in Luton, England, delivering both a fun performance of her hits and flirty festival style inspo.
Stylist Jared Ellner dressed Carpenter in an archival 2005 tangerine colored Roberto Cavalli halter-neck mini with a plunging neckline and pleated detailing. She paired the design with white go-go boots from Naked Wolfe that gave the outfit a “if Velma from Scooby-Doo took a break from mystery-solving to hit up a summer concert” vibe. (We wouldn’t be surprised if she was inspired by the cartoon since she cosplayed as Daphne on the May 19 episode of Saturday Night Live.)
Her glam consisted of her signature bombshell curls with curtain bangs, mauve lipstick and rosy cheeks.

Across the pond, Carpenter was supported by her boyfriend Barry Keoghan, who was clapping and watching her captivate the crowd.
In fan-captured footage of her set on TikTok, the “Feather” performer could be seen singing and dancing to “Espresso” as the Saltburn star, 31, smiled and clapped along from the side-stage.
In the early months of his rumored romance with the former Disney star, the actor was seen supporting Carpenter at her gigs on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and later at her Coachella set in April. The couple also recently made their debut at the 2024 Met Gala on May 6.
During the weekend-long event, Carpenter also joined Coldplay for a surprise performance of the rock band’s 2014 track “Magic.” For this, she changed into a black minidress, leather blazer and sky-high Mary Janes, which leaned into her edgier style.

On Instagram, Carpenter summed up the gig overseas as a “night I’ll never forget.”
“Yesterday was sooo special. I am forever grateful to the UK for giving me a double rainbow during my set, my first number 1 ever, and then showing up and camping out in the pouring rain in Luton to sing at an insane decibel,” she wrote on Instagram.
She continued: “So grateful to @coldplay for the fix u espresso remix and inviting me out to sing magic during their phenomenal set.”
