Meanwhile, Bloom, 47, wore a black and white varsity jacket, white T-shirt and dark blue jeans as he came out to support Perry on her special night with her Idol family amid her from the show.

For the American Idol finale taping earlier in the evening, Perry wore another striking corset in a custom gold design by , with seven roses molded across it representing the singer’s seven seasons on the show.

Perry posted of her modeling the corset paired with a white draped skirt on Instagram following the show. “🥀 7 roses for 7 seasons 🥀 143 #idol 🫶🏼,” she explained in the caption.
The designer of the dress revealed in a posted on Instagram Stories that the corset was still being stitched to the skirt at 2:00 a.m. ahead of the live show, though thankfully the design was completed in time.
