In a recent chat with the Guardian, Jon Bon Jovi shared the K-pop song he loved.
When the interviewer asked about the song he secretly likes but pretends to hate, the Bon Jovi frontman replied:
“‘Gangnam Style’ by PSY because it was just a niche song like the Macarena but you couldn’t help but learn the dance moves.”
In the same chat, Jon also talked about the song he wished he had written:
“The lyrics and melody to ‘The Boys of Summer’ by Don Henley has always resonated with me. I ran into Don last week, put my arm around him after he had just sung that song, and said: ‘I really wish I’d written that.’”
Jon Might Be On The Next Season Of American Idol
The singer is also in the headlines for the rumors about his possible appearance on American Idol as the new judge to replace Katy Perry. A source revealed to Life & Style:
“Jon is the undisputed top contender to succeed Katy. A living legend with undeniable charisma, he possesses all the qualities necessary to command the stage and captivate TV audiences.”
Bon Jovi supposedly wants $25 million. But a friend said Jon isn’t even discussing hosting. However, an insider from Idol spilled the beans:
“The crux of the matter is money. To secure a true rock icon of his caliber, one must invest accordingly!”
Perry said she’s leaving to focus on music. People at Idol say there’s tension as Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan argue over who should replace her. One person said:
“It’s turning into a real claw-fest now that Katy’s leaving. This has been a very stressful time for Luke and Lionel because they’ve been left in the dark about so much — there was even talk producers were going to start fresh with a whole new lineup and give them the boot. That hasn’t happened, so now the next worry is who will join the show.”
Bon Jovi recently released their second single, ‘Living Proof,’ from the upcoming album, ‘Forever.’ The band returned to using the talk box with this new track. The full album will drop on June 7.
