Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke can’t stand Motionless In White’s Chris Cerulli for one reason.
In a new interview with Rock Feed, the singer was asked about the beef between him and the MIW singer. Radke said he didn’t have a beef with the band members, but instead had a problem with the singer. He explained:
“It’s not like a beef. The actual members are cool, I have a problem with Chris. He doesn’t respond and people think that’s his silence, [and that it] means he doesn’t care. Oh, he cares. He’s not responding because it’s like Kendrick [Lamar] and Drake. You don’t want to respond to it.”
He then claimed Cerulli kicked Crown The Empire off their joint tour because he had heard some things and was accused of things they didn’t do:
“[Brandon Hoover] got accused of some things that aren’t true and they are on this tour with Motionless. Chris kicked them off the tour just because he saw something, accusing him instead of getting to the bottom of it. He immediately kicked him off and cut contact with him and then they couldn’t pay their rent, bills, and stuff. It just really messed them up. I was like ‘That’s so messed up.’ Anybody can say anything they want about you. What about the truth? What if it’s not true? And it turned out it wasn’t true. He never responded to them and he still hasn’t said anything and he just kicked them off the tour.”
Radke Says MIW Ripped Him Off
It appears that the Crown The Empire incident isn’t the only thing Radke is fed up about. Radke also said earlier that Motionless In White ripped off Falling In Reverse’s ‘Popular Monster’ music video.
The rocker took to X to share what he felt was a rip-off. When a user sarcastically wrote that no one else can make a music video about werewolves now that his band did, the rocker said it was about the timing and it was the same director too. He explained in more detail in another tweet:
“I know this is a fact because I was told by people that worked on it. They asked to be turned into a werewolf, video director said, ‘I already did that with Ronnie,’ they said they still want to proceed. It’s not about it being doing 30 years ago. It’s about the circumstance, the movie style tour admats it’s everything. I’m not the first to do anything but my ideas come from a real place I’m not hating man it’s just disheartening. I understand coincidences may happen but this ain’t that case. It’s a RIP.”
When more users shared tweets that disagreed with the singer, he shared another tweet saying people should start giving credits to each other:
“You know what I think it is? I think it’s the fact that people don’t acknowledge the inspiration, like they see something doing good and try to do it, but pretend like they got it from somewhere else because they don’t want to come off like they’re jacking a current thing. For me I mention my inspirations in my music like it’s so obvious I grew up listening to Eminem and loved horror movies and Batman etc. You can hear my Eminem inspiration in my rapping. And I literally say it in my songs. Let’s make 2024 the year we give credit to each other. And stop lying. Bring Me The Horizon is inspiring. Bad Omens is inspiring. Parkway Drive is inspiring. Architects is inspiring and so on.”
