Kid Rock took to X and broke his silence on the new cabinet of Donald Trump.
“People keep asking if I have a spot in President Trump’s cabinet….I do….Head of The Liquor Cabinet!! Kid Rock,” the singer wrote in his post.
There are rumors that Trump supporters will be in the new cabinet. Trump has chosen several people for his cabinet, including Karoline Leavitt as press secretary, Doug Burgum to head the Interior Department, and Todd Blanche as the second-highest ranking Justice Department official.
D. John Sauer will serve as solicitor general, and Doug Collins has been selected to run the Department of Veterans Affairs. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be the secretary of Health and Human Services, while Matt Gaetz has been chosen as attorney general.
Although it’s unclear, Marco Rubio will serve as secretary of state, and Kristi Noem has a position. Tulsi Gabbard will be director of national intelligence, and Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ (DOGE).
“Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies — Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement,” Trump said of Musk and Ramaswamy in a statement.
Following the election results, Kid Rock called for peace and asked people to set aside their differences after the election results. “First off, let me convey to my family, friends, and supporters that now is not the time to gloat,” he noted in a video he released on social media. “We must remember that most of our left-leaning friends are good people, who want the same things in life as we do, but simply think differently on how to get there.”
He then shows scenes of small-town America, his concert, and the failed assassination attempt on Trump in July. Rock added, “It is now time to be the bigger man, to extend an olive branch and unite all reasonable people of this great nation. God has blessed America, and together with President Trump, we will make America great again.”
Trump won against Kamala Harris and became the second person ever elected president for non-consecutive terms. Rock has been a long-time supporter of Trump.
