The Bills Mafia is growing with the impending arrival of quarterback Shane Buechele and wife Paige Buechele’s first baby — and starting QB Josh Allen and his girlfriend, Hailee Steinfeld, accurately predicted the newborn’s sex.
Shane, 26, and Paige, 25, found out whether they are having a boy or a girl on Tuesday, November 5, with a party thrown by several members of the Buffalo Bills and their partners.
“The most thoughtful gender reveal with our Buffalo family thrown by the most thoughtful friends. 🦋🎀🍼✨,” Paige wrote via Instagram on Tuesday. “God really blessed us with a community that loves others and Jesus so much. So thankful for everyone that showed up for us.”
Paige also uploaded a “mini vlog,” where attendees shared their predictions on the sex of the infant.

“Hi, baby, I’m Hailee,” Steinfeld, 27, exclaimed before Allen, 28, introduced himself. The actress continued, “And we think you are a girl.”
In the clip, Steinfeld stood behind her boyfriend and wrapped her arms around his neck. He was seated in a lawn chair, wearing a tan shirt that read, “New Era” in pink letters.
Steinfeld and Allen’s prediction was ultimately correct as Shane and Paige are having a baby girl.
“Baby Buechele is a…. GIRL! 🎀🩰,” Paige wrote via Instagram, sharing footage from the moment they opened up confetti poppers loaded with pink streamers.
Paige’s friend Brittany Mahomes, who is also expecting a daughter with husband Patrick Mahomes, replied in the Instagram comments section.
“YAYYYYY🤍 Can’t wait for this baby girl to be here!!” 29-year-old Brittany, who already is a mom of two, wrote.
Brittany and Paige initially bonded when Shane played alongside Patrick, 29, on the Kansas City Chiefs between 2021 and 2022. He signed with the Bills last year.

Since relocating to upstate New York, Shane and Paige got to know his new teammates’ families and even recently attended Steinfeld and Allen’s joint Halloween party late last month. The married couple dressed up as Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, recreating the moment the 45-year-old reality TV star confirmed her pregnancy with son Rocky. (Kardashian gave birth in November 2023.)
Steinfeld and Allen, meanwhile, have been together since spring 2023, during which the Hawkeye alum started rooting for the Bills.
“Football season is back which means a few things. A) I get to watch my favorite person continue to make NFL history every week (go off 17),” Steinfeld wrote in a September issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter. “B) We’re just a few weeks away from drastic temperature drops (California girl speaking) where you’ll find me drinking hot chocolate bundled in vintage Bills gear.”
She added, “I spent most of the game thinking about how lucky I am to get a front-row seat to the magic that is JA17, the entire Bills team and the stadium energy. The people who make up Bills Mafia are second to none.”
Weeks later, Steinfeld joined Allen at the first annual Shakir Family Pet Adoption Event hosted by Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir and his wife, Sayler Shakir.
