Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal has become well-renowned for committing both his body and mind to roles, resulting in powerfully magnetic performances, with one of his best being that of boxer Billy “the Great” Hope in 2015’s Southpaw. Road House 2 was officially announced to be in the works at Amazon back in May. At present, details regarding the direction of Road House 2 remain unknown, but we do know that Gyllenhaal will return, with the actor having called the follow-up “expansive” and “bigger” than its predecessor.
