After ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ debuted at number 79 on Billboard’s Hot 100, Linkin Park now has a new success.
The State of the Scene Podcast recently shared on X that Linkin Park has secured the top 3 spots on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs Chart with their three new songs. While the band’s most recent song ‘Over Each Other’ made it to the third place in TheShockNews, ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ secured second, and ‘The Emptiness Machine’ took the top spot at number one.
Fans couldn’t believe it, as one wrote in the Linkin Park subreddit, “Amazing!!! This has to be a record no? 3 singles and you get a 1-2-3 on the rock charts?”
Another added, “Album of the year calling it now.”
The good news came after the fan concerns about Emily Armstrong’s voice after the release of ‘Heavy Is The Crown.’ Many wrote that the band didn’t deserve it because they were famous thanks to Chester Bennington.
However, the song made it to 11 different lists since its release. It has debuted on 11 charts in America in its first week. The song only had about three days to be streamed and bought before affecting the rankings, but that was enough for it to become popular quickly.
The band recently performed ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ during the opening ceremony of the 2024 League of Legends World Championship at the O2 Arena in London. The song is the official anthem for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship and is the band’s first collaboration with Riot Games.
The awaited album is set to be released on November 15 via Warner and it’s the band’s first full-length project since 2017’s ‘One More Light.’
