The Osbournes have discussed the importance of military service.
In the newest episode of ‘The Osbournes,’ Ozzy warned the U.S. to be ready for a war. The family was discussing the 77% of the Americans being either too fat or mentally ill to join the forces. During the conversation, Sharon said:
“Yeah but if you put them in the military, they’ll lose weight, they will stop drugs.”
When Jack Osbourne said military services should be mandatory, his mother Sharon went on to say:
“Well, there should be. If you don’t have a certain level of education, what’s gonna happen to those people? They should go into service for two years. At least they will be taught a trade because…”
Ozzy, on the other hand, mentioned that they need to be prepared in case of a new war:
“Plus the fact, if there’s a war again, which it looks like [there] very possibly could, China’s all ready for it. They’ve got mandatory [military service].”
Sharon added:
“I honestly think that if kids commit three crimes under a certain age they should be shipped into the military.”
Ozzy added that criminals may be given two options:
“You got a choice: You gotta go to jail or military.”
Ozzy’s Fed Up With America
After spending years in America, the family decided to move to England. Sharon clarified that the decision for Ozzy to move to their property in Buckinghamshire is not related to his health issues and medical challenges. It turns out that it was related to the changes and the gun violence in the country. Ozzy said:
“Everything’s f*cking ridiculous there.”
He added:
“America has changed so drastically. It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now.”
The couple moved to England in February.
