Armie Hammer revealed in August that he sold his pickup truck and purchased a hybrid car because he could no longer afford to pay for gas

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the actor, 38, sat courtside at the Los Angeles Clippers game against the Phoenix Suns at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif. with his former assistant, Jeremy Cahen, as seen in photos Cahen shared on .
The two wore sunglasses while Cahen flashed the peace sign in a pic posted to his main grid while Hammer reshared several snaps of the two to his Instagram Stories.
“When your former assistant buys 4 courtside tickets to the @laclippers for the next 4 years…” The Social Network star captioned one of the photos of the two arm in arm at the game.

Hammer’s appearance at the Clippers’ first game of the season — the Suns won 116-113 — comes nearly two months after he shared in an posted on Aug. 27 that he was selling his 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Pickup truck after determining he required to drive it.
At the time, he revealed that he had been living in L.A. again “for a couple of weeks now.” He also reflected on the memories he had in the truck, like bringing his “kids home from the hospital” and other “amazing trips.”

“But you know what? That’s okay. I got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably gonna put about 10 bucks of gas in it a month, and this is it,” he said at the time. “Here’s to new beginnings. It’s my birthday tomorrow.”
In the video, Hammer also stated that he would be living in a new apartment, driving a new car and embarking on “a new life in Los Angeles” come Aug. 28, which marked his 38th birthday.
