Mark your calendars because Marvel Television has finally announced when Daredevil: Born Again will debut on Disney+. The upcoming Disney+ series will see Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in a continuation of the Daredevil series that aired on Netflix from 2015 to 2018. Born Again has undergone some major changes behind the scenes, leading to the firing of the original showrunners and reworking the tone of the show and its connections to the Netflix series.
At New York Comic Con, via DiscussingFilms on X, Daredevil: Born Again will officially premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. Daredevil: Born Again will debut nearly 10 years after Daredevil, but unlike the Netflix series, it will not drop all the episodes at once and go for a weekly rollout like most of the other Marvel Disney+ series.
Born Again will debut on Disney+ three weeks after Captain America: Brave New World opens in theaters. If the series runs one new episode a week for nine weeks, which is the reported episode count, that means it will conclude on April 29th, three days before Thunderbolts* opens in theaters. That means Daredevil: Born Again is likely to debut with two episodes like WandaVision and Agatha All Along, which would pull the wrap date to a week before Thunderbolts*’ debut.
Daredevil and the Future of the MCU
Marvel clearly has big plans for Daredevil. Charlie Cox first reprised his role as Matt Murdock in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home and then suited up as his superhero alter-ego in 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Fans saw a brief Daredevil fight in Echo earlier this year, and all of it seems to have been building up to Daredevil: Born Again. With Cox also set to voice a Daredevil variant in the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series and Daredevil being featured on the artwork for the upcoming Disneyland ride Avengers: Infinity Defense, the Man Without Fear has a big role in the MCU’s future.

Marvel’s The Defenders Saga in Order: How to Watch Chronologically and by Release Date
The Defenders Saga includes seven combined series and 166 episodes of television. That’s a lot to sort through, so here is the ultimate watch guide.
Daredevil: Born Again, being released between Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* also shows Marvel Studios back in the swing of things. Due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike, the 2024 Marvel releases were more spaced out, with only Echo, X-Men ’97, and Agatha All Along on Disney+, while Deadpool & Wolverine was the only MCU film. With this momentum, it is highly likely that Ironheart will debut between Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. 2025 might be the year the MCU makes a major comeback.
