As we get closer to the U.S. presidential election, opinions are bound to get more pointed and intense, with supporters on both sides offering their two cents. Now entering the political discussion is former wrestler turned actor Dave Bautista, who has already thrown his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris to win the White House. The Dune actor didn’t talk about policies or agendas during his recent late-night appearance, but he did call out the toxic masculinity of former President Donald Trump, cautioning men who are supporting him to realize that the presidential hopeful isn’t a real man at all.
During a segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host pointed to the fact that Trump is ahead in the polls with men over Harris. Kimmel made it clear that he doesn’t think Trump is the “strong Alpha man these voters believe him to be,” and that’s when a clip featuring Bautista pulled zero punches about what he thought about Trump’s brand of masculinity, indicating he’s not a tough guy at all by calling him a “whiny little b**ch.“
“Fellas, we gotta talk. A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not. I mean, look at him, he wears more makeup than Dolly Parton. He whines like a baby. The guy is afraid of birds. Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his little feet hurt so he could dodge the draft. Look at that gut. It’s like a garbage bag full of buttermilk.”
Dave Bautista’s Roast of Donald Trump Held Nothing Back
Bautista’s roast of Trump’s manhood didn’t end there. The actor went on to demean the former President further, pointing to his silly dancing at his rallies and his most recent town hall, and his frequently pouty mood when things don’t go his way. He essentially said that he has constant tantrums and acts like a child, which in turn, makes him less of the man that he and his base likely perceive that he is. Whatever side you fall on, respect is given to Bautista for not holding back on his thoughts.
“He’s barely strong enough to hold an umbrella. He’s got jugs. Big ones. Like Dolly Parton. And you know that little dance he does? He looks like he’s jacking off a pair of giraffes. He’s moody. He pouts. He throws tantrums. He acts like a 5-year-old behind the wheels of a truck. This November, let’s stop kidding ourselves.”

Anyone who watches Jimmy Kimmel Live! knows that it’s often a bash Trump safe zone. The late-night host and the former President have traded barbs on numerous occasions, with neither side backing down, although Kimmel has the advantage of being far more clever than Trump. The convicted president demeans and insults his adversaries, thinking that he’s somehow won the battle, but it lacks any hint of intelligence or self-awareness. In turn, Trump’s lack of self-awareness constantly proves to be one of his many weaknesses.
It should be noted that Bautista isn’t just doing this for a funny bit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The actor has been pretty blunt about his allegiances, taking to his Instagram last month to encourage his followers to get out and vote early, while showing his support for the current Vice President by wearing one of her pins. It can be debated if actors should make their politics public and vocally take a stance about them, but just because they’re celebrities doesn’t mean that where the nation could be headed doesn’t affect them too. Of course, they’re human just like the rest of us, and he was right when he said last September that there are “no excuses” to get out there and vote, early if you can, especially if you want your voice to be heard.
