Your favorite British dog and inventor duo return to screens, as Wallace and Gromit head to Netflix for a new film featuring a returning villain that’s sure to please long-time fans. Netflix has now unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming return of the cheese-loving stop-motion pair in Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Movie audiences haven’t seen the comedy duo, created by British filmmaker and animator Nick Park, on a wild adventure since they started their bakery in 2008’s Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death. Now, from what the streamer shows off in the trailer, the friends will be facing off with their first foe from the Oscar-winning 1993 short The Wrong Trousers: Feathers McGraw.
The criminal penguin Feathers McGraw will return to terrorize Wallace and Gromit in Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. In the upcoming film, Gromit is worried about Wallace’s dependency on his latest invention, the “smart” gnome, which slowly gain a mind of their own. While the town tries to pin Wallace for the mischief the gnomes get into, the trailer reveals that their old nemesis might be behind all the chaos. Check out the official synopsis and the trailer below.
“From the brilliant Aardman and four-time Academy Award®-winning director Nick Park and Emmy Award-nominated Merlin Crossingham comes Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”
