Venom: The Last Dance runtime has been officially revealed, and it’s exactly what audiences need after an abysmal superhero movie year. The Venom franchise is obviously not perfect, nothing truly is, but it still serves as the best Sony Spider-Man-related film series in the past few years. Moreover, they never exceed their limit in both expectations and runtime, normally shorter than most in the superhero genre. Even Madame Web was longer than any Venom film, for those who were brave enough to see it in theaters anyway.
As Venom: The Last Dance showtimes continue to be available in theaters across the nation, the official runtime has been revealed to be 1 hour and 50 minutes. The movie’s length includes credits, of course, falling right in line with previous reports. The Last Dance is a bit heftier than the previous film, Let There Be Carnage, which sits at 1 hour and 37 minutes. Meanwhile, the upcoming sequel is more in line with the first Venom‘s 1-hour and 52-minute runtime. Billed as the final chapter of the Venom saga, The Last Dance should have more than enough time to conclude Tom Hardy’s up-and-down journey as Eddie Brock, along with his symbiotic best friend.
What is unclear is how much of the 110-minute runtime will be taken up by credits, and the inevitable inclusion of post-credits scenes. Venom: Let There Be Carnage famously includes one of the more exciting teases in a superhero movie in the past decade, with Venom traveling to the MCU and finding out about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Of course, Venom’s vacation in the MCU turned out to be short-lived, and he is now back in his own universe, but there is a good chance that the anti-hero meets Spider-Man sooner rather than later.
Does Venom 3 Have Post-Credits Scenes?
With rumors swirling that Spider-Man 4 could officially introduce Hardy’s Venom into the MCU, it’s only natural to assume Venom: The Last Dance could end with a post-credits scene teasing the crossover. In fact, the latest reports indicate that The Last Dance has two post-credits scenes, both of which may further tease Knull, who reportedly does not have much screentime. The relatively recent Marvel Comics villain is a major antagonist in Venom’s storyline, powerful enough to fight the Avengers if he so pleases. If the rumors turn out to be true, Knull could be the main villain of a Tom Hardy and Tom Holland team-up film, presumably Spider-Man 4.

Ryan Stegman, the co-creator behind Marvel villain Knull, has revealed what he thought of Venom: The Last Dance.
Obviously, nothing is set in stone yet when it comes to the future of the franchise after Venom: The Last Dance. Hardy himself has been calling it the last time he’ll be playing the character, saying “that’s all she wrote.” Every rumor seems to point to the opposite, and it would not be the first time a major movie star lied about their superhero role. Still, there is still a real chance The Last Dance lives up to its name, and we never see Hardy as the anti-hero again, but that would be a waste of Sony’s best Spider-Man related character.
Venom 3 is the third and final installment in Sony’s symbiote trilogy starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. It follows the events of Let There Be Carnage, where the anti-hero fought serial killer Cletus Kasady, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Brock was briefly transported to the MCU through the multiverse.
