Ice Nine Kills recently dropped a frightening music video for ‘A Work of Art’ for ‘psycho’ supporters.
‘A Work of Art’ is part of the soundtrack for the upcoming slasher movie, ‘Terrifier 3.’ This franchise is known for making viewers vomit and faint during screenings of its previous films.
The band also released a bloody music video that has been called their most gruesome yet. The 14-minute extended video premiered last night in over 300 theaters during special one-night screenings of ‘Terrifier 2’ and ‘Terrifier 3.’
“Creating a track for ‘Terrifier 3’ is like stepping into the ultimate horror playground. The film and our new single, ‘A Work of Art,’ reflect the same twisted, unrelenting energy that fans of both Ice Nine Kills and the ‘Terrifier’ franchise thrive on,” the band’s frontman Spencer Charnas said of the project.
He continued, “And having our music video play in theaters after the movie at special screenings last night was the ultimate honour and the best way to pay homage to the cinematic terror that has inspired me and this band.
“The extended cut of the video marks a new era of INK related terror, but what that means shall remain in my nightmares. for now. Psychos, we present to you what may well be our most glorious and goresome offering yet, sure to leave you both tongue-tied and terrified,” Charnas added.
Directed by Jensen Noen, the video features David Howard Thornton, who plays the killer Art the Clown in ‘Terrifier.’ It also includes cast members from the franchise, like Catherine Corcoran and Leah Voysey.
‘Terrifier 3’ is now playing in theaters.
