Venom: The Last Dance has been touted as the final chapter for Tom Hardy’s lovable anti-hero, but a new rumor points to the film’s post-credits scenes teasing the future of the franchise. The upcoming sequel finds Eddie Brock and his best friend Venom on a journey to stop monstrous alien villains from destroying them. From trailers teasing the presence of Marvel villain Knull to rumors teasing its connection to Spider-Man 4, Venom: The Last Dance is gearing up to be a must-watch for fans of the supervillain and his superhero counterpart.
According to a new rumor, the third Venom film will continue the franchise’s trend of having exciting teases for the future. Cryptic HD Quality, a reliable source when it comes to movie runtimes and theatrical details, posted on X/Twitter that Venom: The Last Dance has two post-credits scenes. Moreover, they revealed that the film will reportedly be 1 hour and 50 minutes long, which is around the length of the first Venom and roughly 15 minutes longer than Let There Be Carnage. The last sequel famously teased Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and Venom heading into the MCU to meet Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, which has not come to fruition just yet.
The third Venom movie is confirmed to feature Knull, a relatively new Marvel Comics villain, but it is unknown how important he will be. Although several names are swirling around the role, DanielRPK did report that Andy Serkis, who directed Let There Be Carnage, may have been cast as Knull. Another rumor reveals what the post-credits scenes from Venom: The Last Dance will include, pointing to the inclusion of an exciting antagonist and a possible connection to Spider-Man 4.
What’s in the Venom 3 Post-Credits Scenes?
A new rumor posted by MTTSH (via Comicbookmovie.com) claims that Knull will not have a big role in Venom: The Last Dance, but he appears in the post-credits scene. Apparently, the film may lead directly into a Spider-Man 4 crossover that will have Hardy’s Venom team up with the web-slinger against the multiversal threat Knull. The villain reportedly does not interact with Venom and only appears alone far away from Earth, a possible sign that Sony and Marvel are setting up a larger threat to justify Hardy meeting Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. In the comics, Knull is a notoriously powerful character who could take on the Avengers by himself, so Venom will have to find reinforcements to defeat him.

Venom 3 Box Office Forecast Suggests Tom Hardy Movie Could Set Monster Record
If the projection holds true, Eddie Brock’s last outing could be the most profitable one yet.
Although Hardy insists that Venom: The Last Dance will live up to its name and be the end of his Symbiote era, it seems Sony has other ideas in mind. It was always assumed that the company would somehow find a way to include Spider-Man in their plans, even if Marvel Studios had a chokehold on Holland’s version of the hero. But if Spider-Man 4 is truly another multiverse-focused romp, what better way than to have Venom teaming up with one of Earth’s mightiest heroes against Knull? A pipe dream for Venom movie fans could become reality sooner rather than later.
Venom 3 is the third and final installment in Sony’s symbiote trilogy starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. It follows the events of Let There Be Carnage, where the anti-hero fought serial killer Cletus Kasady, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Brock was briefly transported to the MCU through the multiverse.
